DAWN CLOUDS

DAWN CLOUDS

April 27, 2018

A nice sunrise has been a challenge this last week or so, the culprit being voluminous dark cloud banks hanging on the horizon at sunrise. This renders the images flat and grey and in my honest opinion just not worthy of posting.

Nevertheless (is that really one word?), there has been some moments that after some hard cropping or digital arty processing look ok. Clouds really bring drama and texture to an image, just got to go with whats on offer for the day and shoot for the best :)

My one and only sunrise in the last two weeks, Wanda Beach Thursday 19th April at 6.10am

  Tinted surf lines

Perfect day for school holiday surf lessons

Sunrise splash

The arty grainy over processed look

Horizon hugging cloud, Tuesday 6.18am

Grey morning curls

Suitably sombre start to Anzac day
